Clowns Nursery Supporting Haiti

After hearing the tragic news of the earthquake in Haiti, Clowns staff were determined to do what they could to raise money in support of the Haitian cause.

Staff, Parents and Children have been participating in events such as Fancy Dress and Non-Uniform Days, sponsored jumps, sponsored walks and painting Handprints for Haiti.

Our cake sale raised £814.70 and Upper Willow's Hugathon raised £300. Willow Ground Floor's Handprints for Haiti raised £1300.00 and Limetree's sponsored walk around the park raised £724.00. These are just a few of the sponsored activities we took part in.

The Staff Sponsored Walk took place on Friday 19th February 2010 from Nursery to Trafalgar Square.

We would like to thank everyone who has made a donation and the companies who provided our t-shirts and caps.

The final sum of monies raised will be available soon.

All donations will be sent to the British Red Cross supporting the D.E.C. appeal.
