Extra-Curricular Cooking Classes

In addition to the meals that our Kitchen team prepare and serve the children, our Head Chef also runs extra-curricular cooking sessions.

Our focus is always to teach children why a balanced meal is important and we encourage the use of all 5 senses and develop their fine motor skills by enabling them to prepare their own culinary delights. They also learn about different foods including textures, colours, tastes and where different ingredients come from.

The children create a wide variety of savoury and sweet items and even themed ones that celebrate different festivals during the year. The children love to see the results of their efforts.
