Latest Update on Coronavirus and Clowns Nursery Procedures

We are making every effort in line with government advice to keep the nursery open and infection free. To do this, we must all (staff, parents and visitors) work together to reduce cross-infection and to keep ourselves well.

Following the World Health Organisation and government advice we must all be meticulous in our hand washing and sanitising when both entering and leaving the nursery. In addition to this we have a strict policy in place with regards to illness.

Any individual who has a new or persistent cough or temperature of 37.8 degrees or above must stay at home for a minimum of 7 days.

Please do not bring your child to the nursery if he or she has a temperature or a cough. If you yourself are unwell, please do not come to Clowns.

By adhering to this protocol, as outlined by the Prime Minister yesterday, Thursday 12th March 2020, we hope to minimise the risk of illness to the children and staff, so that we can remain open.

As we learn more and further advice is made available, we will update you with any revised guidelines and required procedures.

I thank you for your continued vigilance and commitment to our nursery community at this time.
