World Book Day takes place on Thursday 3rd March this year and children are invited to come to Clowns dressed up as their favourite storybook character on this day.
We are also proud to support Books2Africa a charity that collects children’s books and distributes them to under-privileged schools and libraries in South Africa.
We were made aware of this wonderful charity by a Clowns parent whose child has been collecting and donating books since her first birthday instead of receiving presents.
We will be collecting new and second-hand children’s books at Clowns from Monday 28th February to Friday 4th March. Parents can bring the books to reception or give to staff in your child’s class at drop off or collection.
